DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the 2017 Chicago Region June Sprints\, the 62nd running of this historic event\, which takes place Friday\, June 16 through Sunday\, June 18. \nThe June Sprints is part of the SCCA Hoosier Super Tour and the SCCA Majors. As usual\, Road America will offer an optional (non-SCCA sanctioned) test day on Thursday June 15th. \nTest Day Registration Page \nFor our full entry packet\, including schedule\, supplemental regulations\,additional participant information\, and Road America’s rules\, please see: \nJune Sprints Entry Packet \nWe are using deferred billing this year\, so your credit card will NOT be charged until after June 15th and no cancellation fee applies if you have to cancel anytime prior to that date. So\, we encourage you to enter early. \nReserved Parking will be available again this year. Use the link below to download details on the reserved paddock program and maps of spaces: \nJune Sprints Competitor Parking Info \nThere is free unreserved paddock space available. However\, all paved spaces are available by reservation only\, so register early if you want to reserve paved space. To reserve the same spot last year if available\, enter by May 19\,2017. Garages will also be available for rental again this year. Competitors driving cars with limited ground clearance are urged to consider reserving a suitable paddock space. \nNumbers\, Numbers\, Numbers!\nFor entries received by the registrar through noon on June 2\, 2017\, Majors Series numbers that were reserved via the Majors Series Registration prior to the opening of online registration for this event will receive priority assignment. Secondary preference will be given to 2017 CenDiv reserved number holders. At noon on June 2\, 2017\, all unused reserved numbers will be available on a first-come\, first-served basis. We do try to accommodate out-of-division drivers who want to use their favorite number. \nAlso\, please make sure you have THREE preferred numbers listed for the car(s) you will be entering in the Sprints. This is a large event\, and there is a good chance you won’t get your first preference. Having three choices set for your car increases the chances of getting one of your top three choices. Numbers must be 1 or 2 digits only\, unless a registered Majors number. All 3 digit numbers must start with a 1 (ie:1XX). SUMMARY:Road Rally Chi Cheese\, Wine\, and Beer Tour 2017
DESCRIPTION:The Chicago Region invites you to come out and enjoy another backroads tour as part of G.O.A.T.S. (Get Out And Tour Series).  On Saturday\, May 20\, 2017 the tour\, a two and a half hour\, 115 mile drive is planned to begin in the Rockton IL. area\, and head out on some of the best driving roads in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.  The tour has planned stops at a cheese factory\, Botham Vineyards\, and then to the New Glarus Brewing Co. for a picnic lunch.\n\nBotham Vineyards\, long favored for their signature brand of Wisconsin hospitality and regionally distinctive wines is one of the oldest and most widely acclaimed Wisconsin wineries.  It’s impossible not to be drawn to the peaceful serenity of the vineyard. Rolling hills with abundant wildlife and bird songs from every port of call linger here.  While you’re there linger as well\, visit the tasting room and store in the barn and pick up a bottle or two of wine.  If you see Peter or Sarah\, be sure to say hello.\n\nThe New Glarus Brewing Company is located in the quaint town of New Glarus\, Wisconsin.  New Glarus has a strong Swiss heritage that is prevalent the minute you drive into town. The Brewery is just one of many unique businesses in New Glarus. There are also antique stores\, meat markets\, two museums\, an authentic Swiss bakery and a fine array of restaurants\, many with authentic Swiss cuisine.  Nestled on the outskirts of New Glarus the brewery run by an enthusiastic couple\, Daniel and Deb Carey.  Their philosophy is based on individuality\, cooperation and the employment of 100% natural ingredients to produce world-class\, handcrafted beers for our friends in Wisconsin.
