2019 SCCA VOLUNTEER INCENTIVE PROGRAM

2019 VOLUNTEER INCENTIVE PROGRAM
The Club Racing Volunteer Incentive Program was launched in 2008 to reward SCCA volunteers for days worked at SCCA Club Racing events.  Since then, the program has evolved to include other programs.  Here are the current program details:

ELIGIBLE SCCA-SANCTIONED EVENTS*:
·         Road Racing (Driver Schools, Bracket Enduro, Enduros, Regionals, Conference Majors, Hoosier Super Tour)
·         Hillclimbs
·         SCCA Pro Racing events
·         SCCA Support Sanction events for Non-SCCA events

*Time Trials/Track Events are no longer eligible for volunteer credit.

HOW DO I EARN DISCOUNTS?
Workers are required to self-report days worked at eligible SCCA-sanctioned events in order to earn discounts.  Earned discounts will be applied automatically to a membership renewal.

·         4-5 days worked…………………………………….. $15 Membership Discount
·         6-7 days worked…………………………………….. $22 Membership Discount
·         8-11 days worked…………………………………… $30 Membership Discount
·         12 or more days worked………………………….. $45 Membership Discount+Commemorative ID Card, Recognition in SportsCar Magazine

HOW IS THE PROGRAM FUNDED?
Each eligible event pays a VIP fee of $4.00 per unique driver entry per class per weekend.  For the SCCA Support Sanction events, regions remit payment for each worker that volunteered at the event.  Only the events (see eligible SCCA-sanctioned events) that pay VIP fees are eligible for this program.

HOW DO I REPORT DAYS WORKED?

·         ONLINE:
o    Log-in to your SCCA.com profile account.
o    From your profile page, find the SCCA MEMBERSHIP menu box on the left side of the screen and select VOLUNTEER PARTICIPATION.
o    Click the link “Add Volunteer Participation” and complete the required fields.
o    Click the red button “Add Volunteer Participation”.

·         PAPER FORM:
o    Download the Club Racing Volunteer Incentive Program form.
o    Visit SCCA,com and click on ABOUT in the top navigation bar.
o    Select DOWNLOADS from the list.
o    Scroll down to the Road Racing section and select VOLUNTEER INCENTIVE PROGRAM under General Downloads.
